Today The Department of Justice and Honolulu agreed to a settlement under the ADA to improve paratransit by ending long telephone hold times to book and cancel trips on TheHandi-Van, its paratransit service. It will also train its staff and report to the Department of Justice on its progress. The press release can be read here.
