Justice Department Announces ADA Title I Settlement Agreement with Florida State University

The Justice Department announced today that it had reached a settlement under Title I of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) with Florida State University, Tallahassee, FL. Under the settlement FSU agrees not to conduct any medical examination or make any disability-related inquiry of job applicants before a conditional offer of employment is made, and to make its employment opportunities website and its mobile applications, conform to, at a minimum, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 Level AA Success Criteria and other Conformance Requirements (“WCAG 2.0 AA”).
