The Justice Department announced yesterday that it had reached a settlement under Title I of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) with the City of Hubbard, Oregon. Under the settlement, the City agrees not to conduct any medical examination or make any disability-related inquiry of job applicants before a conditional offer of employment is made, and to conduct training and designate an individual to address ADA compliance.
