Rick Martin, Associate in the Orange County office, performs disabled accessibility consulting, LEED consulting, property condition assessments, and owner's representation-related services.
Rick is currently working as the on-call Certified Access Specialist (CASp) for district wide access compliance services for a local community college district. He has also worked on disabled accessiblity surveys and repair documents, property condition assessments, and construction monitoring for higher education facilities, commerical office buildings, retail projects, multi-residential facilities, and warehouse buildings.
Prior to joining Marx|Okubo, Rick had 10 years of experience as a Construction Contract Administrator and was the director of sustainability for an architectural firm providing both construction contract administration and LEED consulting services.
Rick holds a bachelor's degree in construction management from the College of Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse University. He is a LEED Accredited Professional with the BD+C specialty, Certified Building Commissioning Professional, and a Certified Access Specialist.
