Mr. Miller has extensive experience as a project manager and construction manager on private and public agency projects, including those for Private Owners, Hotels, Commercial Production Facilities, Public School Districts, Public Agencies, and Publicly Owned Hospitals. He has provided project management consulting services on a wide spectrum of architectural and engineering construction projects for more than 40 years. His experience includes project management, logistical coordination, resource planning and scheduling, providing cost analysis and budget management, as well as conducting site supervision during the construction phase to keep the project on schedule and within budget. In his prior position, Mr. Miller was the Director of Integrated Construction Management where de developed and managed the Construction Management / Owner's Representative Services Division for an Architectural Services Firm.
Mr. Miller has a thorough knowledge of the Construction Management processes and best practices, and has successfully managed public and private sector projects with aggressive schedules and tight budget restrictions, consistently exceeding client expectations. He has a thorough understanding of California Building Codes and the Public Contract Code. Mr. Miller has extensive experience with Standard Bidding and Contract Management processes for public and private entities. He is proficient with software applications such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and SureTrack, as well as CAD programs and integrated project management programs.
As a Certified Access Specialist (CASp), Mr. Miller provides accessibility consulting and inspection services for private (Title III) entities and public (Title II) entities. Reviewing design documents, performing site inspections, developing CASp inspection reports and providing general consulting services on accessibility issues. Clients include Hotels, Convention Centers, Hospitals and Healthcare Facilities, Shopping Centers, Schools and Universities, etc.
