Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit has invited you to submit on their Facility and Programmatic Accessibility Consulting Services opportunity.
The Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit District (SMART) has issued a Request for Proposal for Facility and Programmatic Accessibility Consulting Services, including CASP inspection services. SMART is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced firms to provide as-needed expert accessibility consultant services in the areas of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Federal and State Laws related to facility and programmatic disability access and compliance. The awarded Consultant shall support SMART’s commitment to providing fully accessible facilities. The Consultant may be asked to provide the following services on an as-needed basis via the issuance of a written task order as needs arise to ensure SMART’s compliance related to the American with Disabilities Act (ADA): 1) Provide expert ADA accessibility Consultant services and/or comprehensive assessment trainings; 2) Assess SMART’s Facilities for ADA Compliance; 3) Provide Certified Access Specialist (CASp) inspections and certifications; 4) Provide Programmatic and ADA Reviews; 5) Provide transit vehicle accessibility and ADA Compliance Reviews; and 6) Provide other areas of accessibility ADA compliance reviews as directed by SMART’s ADA Coordinator. SMART will award one contract with a maximum not-to-exceed amount of $100,000 and a maximum period of performance of 5 years, including all amendments. The deadline to submit Proposals is 2:00pm (Pacific) on May 2, 2024.
