October 2018 Conference: “Stay the Course”

October 22-25, San Diego, CA

Although we are living through a time of uncertainty, more than 50 million people with disabilities continue to go about their lives in a post-ADA and section 504 world.  With the Federal government taking a more limited role as an information provider, it is more challenging for covered entities and advocates to obtain the best available disability rights information.  Yet the ADA, the Fair Housing Act, and other disability rights laws remain in full force and effect.  And the “ADA generation,” persons with disabilities and their families who have been raised on the promise of the ADA, expect that governments and businesses will provide them with ready access and effective accommodations.

So what’s an ADA Coordinator to do? The National Association of ADA Coordinators (NAADAC) is here to help you “Stay the Course” and build a solid ADA foundation for your programs, services, and activities. In San Diego, California, our group of nationally recognized experts will provide reliable, understandable, practical information on what the Federal disability rights laws require and how to comply.

We’ll cover the ADA basics, answer your questions, and provide a track for more detailed information on service animals, web access, emergency preparedness, and the provision of accessible health care. So come to San Diego for four, information-filled days and you will find that NAADAC’ Fall Conference will enable you to ‘Stay the Course” in these uncertain times.
