Biography:

I am a California Certified Accessibility Specialist (CASp #054) with more than 30 years of experience as a disabled accessibility compliance consultant and instructor.  I have authored 18 published books on disabled access compliance, and served as expert witness/consultant in well over 1,000 lawsuits alleging non-compliance with disabled accessibility laws and related standards.  I have been approved by the State Bar to facilitate continuing legal education (MCLE) classes for attorneys, and have been utilized by the Federal Office of Civil Rights (OCR) to train their attorneys and investigators on state/federal disabled accessibility compliance.    I have been a member of the State Building Standards Commission Accessibility Code Advisory Committee for more than 20 consecutive years, including five of those years as Chairman.
