Biography:

My career in ADA unknowingly began while working as a California licensed general contractor that specialized in commercial construction. For approximately 18 years I was involved with many ADA type renovation projects, so much so that I was becoming known as the “ADA Guy”.  As the economy and construction slowed I began to reinvent my career path.  From late 2008 to 2010, I gained employment with an ADA consulting firm, my duties included site surveys and providing clients solutions for obtaining compliance.  As my passion for construction related accessibility began to grow, I felt the need to become CASp certified so I would hold the credential necessary to pursue my goal of starting a new consulting firm. In 2011, I became CASp Certified and founded “Certified ADA Consultants, Inc.” I now preform CASp services for many types of business that include mom and pop type operations to national chains. It is an honor to be elected by my piers to serve as a board member for such an esteemed institution as CASI.  If elected I will bring with me my excitement, passion, and experience and hopefully do my part in keeping CASI recognized as the leader in accessibility.
