Mark Wood, CBO, CASp
Mark is a retired Building Official for the City of Davis. Mark is co-owner and principal with California Certified Accessibility Specialists, Inc. (CalCasp) and Co-Founder of BlueDAG, ADA Inspection and Compliance Software for Public and Private Entities. He is a past president and board member of the Sacramento Valley Association of Building Officials (SVABO), a Certified Access Specialist (CASp #043), and founding member of the Certified Access Specialist Institute (CASI). Mark is a Subject Matter Expert volunteering for the Division of the State Architect (DSA) CASp Committee tasked with question development for the CASp Certification Exam. Recently, Mark was selected to a team of national experts working on a comparative analysis of the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design and the 2010 California Building Code completed in March 2012. CalCasp provides Federal and State accessibility instruction throughout the State including for the Sacramento Valley Association of Building Officials (SVABO), and the American Institute of Architects Central Valley and San Francisco Chapters (AIA), state college system and university architects. Mark is producer and contributor to the ADA Shop Talk podcast available on ITunes & Google Play.

A Magical Night at the Movies
On select evenings, curl up under the stars or gather ‘round inside to watch special screenings of popular Disney films. Simply ask a Cast Member about specific movie details during check-in. Viewing areas open 30 minutes before showtime and attendees are encouraged to bring refreshments (glass containers are prohibited) for the show.


Get Up & Go Power Walk
Rise and shine! Enjoy this very FAST-paced 2-mile power walk through Disney California Adventure Park before it comes to life. Kindly note these requirements:

  • This is a special offer for Guests staying at the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort.
  • Beginning promptly at 6:00 AM, this group power walk requires all Guests to be able to keep a 15-minute mile pace and is not recommended for those with knee, hip or joint limitations.
  • Athletic shoes are required.
  • The minimum age to participate is 14 years (17 and under must be accompanied by a guardian).
  • Strollers and cameras are not permitted.
  • This activity may be subject to cancellation due to inclement weather.

Sign-ups are required. To reserve your space, sign up at the Guest Services desk in the main lobby of any of the 3 Disneyland Park Resort Hotels. There is no fee to participate. Activity time and availability are subject to change without notice.


Fitness Center
Work out and stay fit while on vacation at the Fitness Center located near the Magic Kingdom Lawn. Treadmills, bicycles (regular and recumbent), ellipticals, stair climbers, free weights and weight machines are available to Guests of the Disneyland Hotel seeking exercise while on vacation.

Visiting Disneyland Park? Test your Disney knowledge as you hunt for answers to trivia questions at "the Happiest Place on Earth."

Pick up a trivia question sheet at the Guest Services desk in the main lobby and then head over to Disneyland Park to find the answers. Once you’ve succeeded in answering all the questions, head back to Guest Services to receive your special themed prize. Please note that theme park admission is required.
